We consulted with the PSE advisory service here in Cardiff to put together a flexible workshop to enable us to span the yr groups and also to give an opportunity for pupils to respond in different ways. This is now an ongoing resource for schools and youth groups to use. The resource pack with Its DVD is distributed among schools and youth groups in the Cardiff area and the videos and worksheets are available to download after April 2010.
The key angle here is about how much importance we place on Friends vs. Family vs. Faith when it comes to times of personal crisis and establishing a true sense of the world around us. What we want to look at is the idea of who you trust and what makes you choose friends over family or family over friends or bypass them both and trust in faith, whether that is faith in a god or faith in yourself.
