Below is a timetable outlining how the whole primary school can be involved in the exciting Draig Goch Day. Please contact People Around Here on
029 2021 0007 or email info@peoplearoundhere.com for more details.

Whole School
The day begins with a whole school interactive assembly and ends with a performance, where each group performs or displays their creative work to the rest of the school.

Reception, yr1 and yr2:
We will run a dance/drama workshop where the pupils will re-enact the story using music and movement.
Performance: pupils show the rest of the school some of their moves.

Years 3-4:
We will give an art workshop on Celtic designs and basic cartoon figures. The pupils will then create their own Celtic banner telling the Draig Goch story in design and images stuck onto a long single strip of paper to form the Draig Goch banner (Think Bayeux Tapestry!)
Performance: The Banner will be used to decorate the hall and representatives will explain it to the rest of the school.

Years 5-6:
We will run a music workshop where the pupils learn an original song, telling the dragon story through lyrics and rap, and sing this over a pre-recorded track. We record this to a CD for the school to keep. They also have the option of making dragon masks to wear for the performance later. This can be done during other sessions, as all templates and instruction will be provided.
Performance: Singing the song while wearing masks.

Cost: £350 for full day.
